Natracare Safe to Flush moist tissues are made from 100% paper to cleanse and refresh delicate skin. Certified COSMOS Natural, the formula is 99.7% of natural origin, with soothing aloe vera and cleansing witch hazel to leave you feeling fresh. 

Unlike many wipes made with viscose or plastic, our moist tissues are plastic free and designed to break down safely after flushing. Independently tested to meet Water UK flushable standards, and tested for toilet disposal to Water UK's WIS 4-02-06 specification, they biodegrade in both marine and fresh water.

Can you flush Natracare's Safe to Flush moist tissues?

Natracare moist tissues are third-party, independently tested and approved flushable to UK Water Industry Standard WIS-4-02-06 for safe toilet disposal. Both the tissue and formula are designed to be sewer safe. They can also be disposed of with your regular waste or composted as an alternative to flushing.

Safe to Flush moist tissues are made with just paper, no plastic or viscose. Some brands of wipes claim to be flushable or even biodegradable whilst containing plastic or viscose fibres in the wipe. These cannot break down properly when flushed and can even contribute to blockages and plastic pollution in rivers and oceans.

Are the Safe to Flush moist tissues okay for septic tanks?

We recommend checking with your manufacturer before flushing the moist tissues in septic tank systems.

Safe to Flush moist tissues are biodegradable in both marine and fresh water environments. The standard for safe toilet disposal, WIS-4-02-06, is designed and tested for mains connected sewers only and not off-grid waste systems. There can be differences such as septic tank pipes being more narrow than mains water waste pipes.

It's safe to flush the moist tissues after use. You can also compost or dispose of with your regular waste.

The packaging is made from recyclable plastic (recycle code 5). Check with your local authority to see if they can recycle polypropylene or find a local collection point.
